These people are one issue voters and they don't want compromises.

+1. I can only dream of a future where we ditch the primary process for a ranked choice vote between all candidates...which would give somebody who has condemned Trump (like Hogan or Sununu) a chance.

Republican primary voters want their nominee to promise a federal, national abortion ban and lean into it. None of this namby-pamby Tim Scott slip-n-slide stuff!

Yes. SC has a lot of socially conservative Black people. So does GA. But there is a reason he’s the only Blacck R Senator. Iowa ans Kansas are not SC.

Not PP but he’s never had a serious contender in a primary. He was appointed as DeMint’s replacement and and run as an incumbent since.
