Definitely, you can find a nice bag in that price range. It’s just not gonna be gaspworthy or “if you know you know” kind of bag.

I prefer Mulberry (all my bags are Mulberry, Smythson, Il Bisonte, or no visible label high end), would not be caught dead with Dior, LV, YSL, Gucci, Prada (which is made in China FYI). I also like if-you-know more medium brands like Mage, Strathberry, Welden.
Not the parenthetical remark (which is made in China FYI) about Prada.
Almost all high end handbags are made in Northern Italy by Chinese workers in Chinese owned factories.
