Things I have zero interest in: a list of specific items improperly bought by the same people have already been fired for financial wrong-doing, including improper use of MCPS credit cards
Then move on. MCPS doesn't provide any oversight over credit card use and so personal spending on MCPS credit cards by the 1,600 MCPS credit card holders is accepted and ignored.
If you don't want audits or financial investigations, you will never know what is going on and be much, much happier. Just keep buying classroom supplies for your teachers.
You have again misstated what has happened. You think people were fired, they weren't. Only 1 person out of over a dozen was fired. The rest get to keep their jobs and, or their pensions.
Why do you want your children to learn to read when you can't even read one 15 page Investigation? You want to know MCPS procedures? Then read the report so you can find out they don't have any procedures to prevent this type of spending.
FYI: This investigative report doesn't even touch on the $1.2 million that was embezzled by these same bus depot administrators through a secret side account with the MCPS school bus company in Annapolis. LOL. What a great job they have! Unlimited MCPS credit card use and side payments from a vendor. Now go buy up all the stuff teachers need on their begathon sites.
