People seek you out for something important enough to memorialize in writing. And they want you to affirm their identity and intentions.
You check the ID to verify identity...oh my.
You complete the jurat. "On this 1st day of December, 2022 John Doe did personally affirm to me, a notary public in the state of"...... getting a little hot and bothered now.
You place your signature as notary public on the document.... keep going, don't stop.
You place your informational notary stamp with the date of expiration and county in which you are registered.... HARDER, please HARDER.
You affix your impressioned seal on the document with great force....YES, YES, YES!!!
You emboss the seal so that it appears when recorded in public records....emBOSS it all over me!!!
And you get to do it again and again. Become a notary public.
I wish I felt as passionately about something as you do about notarizing.
I unexpectedly enjoyed trailblazing and also the frisbee runaround outside game that young people play. And Disneyworld.
