Daniel Craig's accent was painful. They should have either found an American actor who could do it, or just let him be British or no-accent American.

Boring and dumb. Rian Johnson creates great visuals, but he's a horrible writer. Janelle Monae stole the show.

Liked the movie but…
1) wouldn’t the host know “andi’s” secret right away?
2) what was up with the dude living on the island who wasn’t part of the group?

I was hoping that the twist would be that he is the real owner of the island. Kinda disappointed.

i thought it was a clunker, lacking the joy and mischief of the original, which i adored. improbable friendships, charmless CGI-ish sets, two dimensional characters.

I can’t remember the final scene. Maybe this?

Now that's attention to detail.

What famous image?!

1) All of them knew Andi for years and none realized what was happening, so no reason the host, in particular, would have twigged. Also: Lots of research went into the deception, as we later see in flashback. Finally, basic suspsension of disbelief is essential for us, with this movie.
2) The dude was purely comic relief. Just so deliciously random. The brief glimpse of his lair and its decor was hilarious to me. Man cave with a '70s vibe!

Spoiler !!!
The host is the one who did you know what to her. The others wouldn’t have known he did that. He should have been shocked as hell to see her appear.

Watched it last night. Entertaining but not as good as Knives Out, which I've rewatched. I don't think I'd rewatch this one.

Yes, a slow and confusing start but then it really takes off.
