That said, I understand where you’re coming from. But if you can adjust your mindset, you might really enjoy it.
The bottom line is that the people who work at a spa:
1) don’t care
2) have seen it/worse before
3) want very much to accommodate you, because they are nice and work for tips
4) don’t care
You are not abnormally large. They have been here before. They have a bigger robe or will figure something else out. Or wear your clothes!
They will give you a clothed massage. Or through a sheet. Or whatever. They have a solution and want you to have the service if possible. You know how you are not wigged out by picking up your dog’s poop or cleaning your baby’s diaper? We’re all dog poop and baby diapers to spa employees. They just don’t care and don’t notice it. They’re like nurses. Iron clad. As long as you’re being respectful and transparent, you’re fine.
That said you don’t have to do any services to enjoy a “spa day” with your friends. Book the whirlpool or just read by the pool. Get a manicure. Or nothing! Honestly if you said “I’m just here to hang with my friends and I want to read by the pool” I bet they would say yes.

If losing weight were easy, there wouldn’t be a multibillion dollar industry dedicated to it. Just call and ask—if nothing else it will give them a heads up. The mens and women’s robes are the same.
I’m a 2x. I have a waffle type robe that will fit in a large ziploc bag which fits in my tote. Fortunately it won’t be an issue for OP.
Can you link your robe? I’m in the market for one and hate bulky robes.

You deserve whatever spa treatments or other indulgences that you want! I’m horrible about negative self-talk myself, but please try to give yourself some grace! I hope that you have a lovely time!

They said the psoriasis won't be an issue and the she said the robes won't be a problem they will note it. And she is going to send a note to the spa manager who will call if anything. But that they will be able to accommodate all sizes ( fingers crossed) and the massage therapist will call 24 hours before the appt to discuss with all in our party.
Phew. Trusting this process.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone
