I'm the PP defending her. They're both trash. Idiots to be fighting like that on the sidewalk. But I notice no one gasped when he called her a stupid b/tch or gestured toward her face like they did when she used racial slurs.
They're both idiots. They look well matched.
His calling her a bit#$ is reasonable given her aggressive acts. She is in his personal space and will not stop. It is outrageous that you think him calling her a bit#$ is the same as her calling him a slave and an n. I also don't see him moving to hit her. I see her again and again move into his personal space and screaming. Her assault on him was unprovoked.
She is standing back making her complaint -- Your phone was not plugged in. Then he says, shut up b/tch. Then she repeats her complaint. THEN she moves forward to say, "You are the crazy one. Take your medication." and repeats her complaint.
I don't do Uber but what happens if his phone is not plugged in -- he can't charge her the correct amount? She's complaining about something.

My best guess is that she asked he was rude to her when she asked to charge her phone, then her phone ran out of battery so she could not complete the ride in the app. Then he wouldn’t let her leave when they arrived at the destination because he wasn’t assured of getting paid. Which is why he also got out of the car.
Interesting how you constantly make assumptions that it is the black man's fault. It's actually not interesting, it's disgusting.
Anonymous wrote:Oh no. Sounds like they were both very stressed out. When in doubt, I side with the woman.

1. Don’t take Uber.
2. Don’t be racist.
If this is the order of importance in your mind, your post is disgusting. That's right. It's not just that your joke isn't landing it's that you would post this here after seeing this video.

Not justifying what she said, at all, but -- he did call her a b/tch first.
Also he gestured toward her face like he was going to hit her. Not okay.
No. He did not. He said that she was in his face and it was a motion to move back. Stop making stuff up

She is the one who has moved into his personal space. She is the aggressor.
She's standing back saying, "Your phone was not plugged in. Your phone was not plugged in." Then he says, "Shut up b/tch" That's okay with you? She's repeating her complaint and he calls her a b/tch, and she's the aggressor? Horrible behavior on both sides -- that guy is definitely not an innocent victim.
Anonymous wrote:How could anyone watch that and think this at all the driver’s fault? He in no way put his hand up to hit her, he put it up saying get the f out of my face. Which is all he said over and over while this woman yelled hateful and racist things at him. That man has a lot of self control, my DH would have screamed at that woman.
And we live in a society where you call someone a slave because your phone was going to die? It’s privileged and disgusting

It isn't his job to charge her phone.
Not to mention the fact that she calls him the N-word - over and over! Sheesh! How on earth could anyone side with her?
