Camp Letts - yes, the kids sleep.
Overall, My DD loved it even though she was expecting to hate it.
Food - not enough food, she was hungry, although food was fine taste wise. Bring snacks when you pick up.
Activities - yes, she loved it.
Kid went in spring and weather was perfect, so not sure what it's like in winter

I’m chaperoning my kid’s Outdoor Ed this year. Any advice/tips if I can bring my laptop? Any WiFi there? Any extra items we should bring?

Yep sounds about the same. They don't sleep doctor's recommended 9-11hours. Just know that in advance, parents! It's a sleepover. Lights out at 10pm (on paper) but LOTS of chatting the FIRST night, most are sleep deprived and it impacts students' mood on the full day of activities (the second day since first day is getting to destination etc.). Wake up around 6am. The second night, most are so tired from daytime activities so they are usually asleep more quickly. Not sure if ALL sites' cabins are heated "too much" but a fitted sheet and sleeping bag is enough.

Not all schools use parent chaperones. Some have teachers/staff only.

Students enjoy for the most part. Some get homesick but can typically last three two.5 days
They welcome chaperones especially if you are able to stay over. The teachers do not usually stay in same room as students but if a paraeducator does, there should be another adult in cabin with that person.
