I have 1 who is a lot- wants you to play games with them every night, talk about deep stuff, etc…I don’t know if these posters have little robots who just come home, do chores/hw & then go to their rooms - but mine had plenty of nights where they needed to talk about crazy stuff (puberty, friends, etc).

Right? He's away on business and he's bringing home a big paycheck. He hasn't abandoned the family, died, isn't deployed or in prison. There are not toddler triplets in the mix; the offspring are in late ES/early MS. This is not a gut-wrenching tragedy.
