This has always been one big downside to living here for me -- PITA to get to stores. Target, Costco, Home Depot. So much requires annoyingly long drives or drives through a lot of traffic to get to.

I love the Merrifield Target but it would be more convenient to have a Tyson’s one. The Merrifield one is pretty small though, I would hope a Tyson’s one could be a lot bigger.

I wish they could re-model all of those shopping centers where the Lidl and DSW and HomeGoods all are - those feel like such wasted opportunities. They need big parking garages and bigger buildings. Time to redo those.

Well they have the Wegmans by the McLean metro, Whole Foods by Greensboro, and Walmart by Spring Hill, a Target at the Tysons Corner Center stop where Lord and Taylor was makes a lot of sense. There’s not much, if any, focus on redeveloping the area south of Rt 7, where BB&B was.
