In fairness, we’ve had violent road rage in DC and other nearby parts.

I think it’s a combination of entitlement and lack of impulse control. Honestly, I’m seeing (albeit less physical) signs of this at my white collar, mostly liberal DC workplace post-Covid, so I’m not surprised that less-educated people packing heat are losing their sh1t in Flori-duh.

+1. Driving has become dangerous, not necessarily because of road rage but not following driving rules. Turning left from a right hand lane in front of other cars is common and red lights and stop signs are treated as suggestions.

+1000

My commute driving to downtown DC has become a minefield of terrible, dangerous driving. And the turning left from a right hand lane is often without a signal. And stopping in the middle of the road for no reason.

Is it the dirt bike boys ?

No just cars.

It sounds more like DC or Baltimore but most of those who use guns there don’t own cars unless they hijack one

Nah this sounds like true south behavior. You couldn't pay me to live down there-VA is a stretch to be honest.

This is a disgusting country.I'm embarrassed (and scared) now.

What exactly do you think happens differently during shootings in DC?

Please link to similar stories in DC.

They would be deleted from the thread. We are here to punch down on Florida.

So you have nothing.

I don’t think anyone is saying there aren’t road rage shootings in other places. This story is unique because both guys lost their temper, shot at each other, missed, and shot each other’s children. None of the stories you linked are like that. They’re road rage stories with a single shooter and the victims seem to be the intended targets. Unfortunately, those kinds of altercations happen all over the country.

Ah... The no true Scotsman argument.

This doesn't count. He isn't from Florida or Georgia.
