OP here - did you end up cutting back?

I'm PP and I did. I had found myself drinking a glass or two almost daily and now really only drink on the weekends. For me it wasn't that I was seeking alcohol or a buzz, it was that after spending all day drinking tons of water I wanted something different and was defaulting to wine.

Trader Joe’s carbonated juices, like the blood orange one. Not quite as sweet as regular juice but sweet enough that a small glass of it satisfied me. Now I guzzle cold spindrift and wear a sweater.

Switch to drier and lighter wines. French burgundy rather than big California reds. Dry roses again french are drier. Italian Pinot Grigio if you like white.

Anonymous wrote:I hear you, OP. I recently cut way back on my drinking because I feel absolutely awful when I drink and it really messes with my sleep. I like herbal tea (the yogi Egyptian licorice mint or Harney & Sons yellow and blue are my faves!), but I especially love kombucha. I have started making my own and find that it totally hits the spot in the evening when I need something fun + a little boost. Best thing is that it is great for your digestive health - I have not had a single stomach ache since I started drinking kombucha almost every day (and I used to be borderline IBS-C).

Please share how you make your own kombucha- I’d like to try but worry I’ll make it wrong.

I also like kombucha (though I'm picky about brands) and green tea. The looseleaf kind in an infuser. Feels luxurious

I was about to suggest San Pellegrino sparkling water -- various flavors. I love the skinny little cans.

I really like Proteau, but it is pricey.
