OP here, I should! But from this I started doing intermittent fasting. I’m on day 2.
Today I had:
Protein shake
Protein bar
Slice of deli turkey
Babybel cheese
Amy’s Mexican casserole meal
A couple pieces of mango
2 spoonfuls of my daughters max and cheese
Yasso Greek yogurt frozen bar
*****I know! All crap! No real food or veggies.
I was running around all day so had to do quick, easy.
Water
Black coffee

I’m not a great cook or veggie eater—I’ll eat mostly salad kits.

Thanks to all for advice! Keep it coming. I’m also flabby. I forgot to mention that before.
I’ve been told that some people are high tone or low tone and I’m low tone.

You eat basically no real food

Yes—today. Today was a weird day. If it was more typical I would probably eat 2 eggs and then dinner would be salmon, brown rice and asparagus or chicken and that.

Based on this my guess is that you end up overeating most days or are constantly hungry. Stop all the small little meals/snacking. None of these thing are filling or satisfying. Most protein bars are at least 200 cal but small and thus not very filling. You need more bulk and vegetables.

You say this was a weird day, but I find that most "weird" days tend to be more than norm than the exception. When it come to diet and fat loss consistency is key. One day of eating well won't get you results, but consistently following your diet will.

Also you don't need to be a great cook to eat well. There are lots of idea out there to create meals from things you barely even need to cook. Rotisserie chicken and salad, frozen veggies and sautéed ground meat.

OP, be careful about taking diet advice from this board. In my experience, much of it will be conflicting and incorrect.I'd get a session with a nutritionist instead.
