But I agree you are not qualified to teach it. Kids should go to these classes by qualified staff.
You don’t think teachers are capable of teaching.. leadership? Seek homeschool then. Yikes. No one needs to be “qualified” to teach this complete bs. Anyone with a functioning brain could easily teach it and also realize how stupid it is at the same time.
Yes just like I f’ing think an English teacher should teach math.
Teachers are not leaders.
Clearly OP can’t teach it. It’s a solid program and needed if taught properly.
Really? How many teachers do you know that are actual leaders?
First of all, you’re a moron. Period.
Second of all, even people as dumb as you could teach this. Done! Doesn’t require any specialization. It actually requires negative brain cells. You have to be a covey shill. I just feel sorry for you.
Sorry but teachers are not qualified to teach everything. I know it hurts your feeling. But leadership is needed in the real world and academia is not the real world. Teachers don’t have any experience in a business, they are rarely educated enough to teach most things.
I’m on your side, I don’t think YOU should teach this.
You think..
You think the 7 habits are required in the corporate world? Sorry…
Anyone who works in the real world knows bs when they see it.
You sound like you actually need some help.
Forbes disagrees with you.

Did you miss the part about mcps paying upwards of $2M for this curriculum that is sold by Franklin Covey, a for profit corporation?
Did you miss the part about it’s grounding in Mormonism?
I’m more concerned about the price tag.
There’s also a questionable video with a slo-mo scene that secondary students will find sexually suggestive.

Lol this is how you DONT teach it.
That’s literally a lesson. Then students are supposed to discuss what they could have done differently. Shall I link the lesson for you?

Anonymous wrote:All the teachers in my high school are forced to teach leader in me during our advisory/home room time. I just feel like I am rambling about jargon nonsense for thirty minutes. The videos seem geared for elementary schoolers and are sometimes not in English. The PowerPoint this week was over forty slides to get done in 30 minutes. It has been a constant fight just to keep kids off their phones, but I honestly don’t blame them. I can’t believe the county paid $1.8 million for this.
Conceptually there is nothing wrong with the seven habits but the presentations seem to assume I am some sort of indoctrinated expert already who is all bubbly about this shit and can think of loads of examples or something. Some kids are in sync with it. Usually students who already have a positive attitude and don’t really need this “training”. But most students have bigger priorities and I and don’t feel like this meets their needs at all.
I asked my other classes how the training is handled and it seems like most are just doing their best to completely ignore it and pretend to hear nothing.
