Ask any teacher you know the kids are not ok…. And here I most notably mean the kids who’ve had Covid, not the impact of school closure.
Your baby/child will be catching covid. There is no avoiding it.
Avoided it so far! Thanks though!
That went over your head. Covid has only been around 2.5-3 years.

I did not and cannot imagine going through transition or pushing with a mask. Wondering if maybe with an epidural it's different. Thankfully in May 2020 I did not have to at my hospital.
Just delivered without an epidural at Shady Grove. Was too far gone to get a mask on and thankfully nobody pushed it. We were maskless in the recovery room but DH wore one during delivery and outside of our room.

(To say nothing about how stifling it felt having conscious surgery with a mask on). So I kept pulling it down to look at my baby (I had a c section so one of my arms was pinned) and a nurse literally screamed at me and pulled it up. I’ll never forget it. It was such an already emotional moment that I started crying and said I just wanted to see my baby and she responded that I’d have time in a couple hours when I get to my own room by myself. This was at Inova Fairfax. It may sound trite if you haven’t given birth in 2 years but what they made women go through / how they made us feel during what should’ve been the happiest time of our lives is a true outrage.
This is horrifying. What is wrong with people?! I’m sorry you experienced that.
