Yeah, and although it is somewhat irrelevant given they have more money than they would ever need so nobody needs to work, Gisele actually earns more--and for less risk and for less time commitment--than him. She's still hugely in demand as a spokesperson.

Gisele. And I say that as a huge Tom Brady fan. He didn't give retirement a real try and I feel like he's doing it because he's too scared to try something new or move on. Sometimes being courageous and doing "hard work" look different than you think they do. He's in a comfortable rut and isn't willing to get out of it, and he's putting himself at risk and his family too. Paradoxically, it's kind of gutless. Figure out what you want to do next and do it. Prove that you're not one-dimensional.

I hate the retiring/unretiring dog and pony show. I hated it with Brett Favre and I hate it now. Philipp Lahm (soccer) had the right idea. He pulled the plug maybe a year too early instead of a year too late, went out on top, and has moved onto spearheading Germany's Euro 2024 hosting and other projects. We didn't have to watch him fall to pieces and embarrass himself on the field. More players should do similar.

Giselle. Given the issues with CTE that have come to light being the oldest player in the game is truly not a good thing. She also stepped back from a far more lucrative career to focus on their family and he really should do the same.

I think they're both pretty gross people, but I lean toward Giselle in this fight. His oldest kid is in high school and he's had this crazy career his entire life. He has an opportunity a lot of parents would kill for to really spend time with him before college, and he's just chasing more limelight. Enough will never be enough.

I am on the side of the KIDS! His kid is playing HS football. Does he go ALL the games? Probably not, especially if either Tom or son have an away game. And even if the eldest lives with Bridget, he can afford private jets to go see him play. Can’t do that if you are playing pro football.

He has nothing to prove and should have retired on top when Tampa won the SB.
