It’s not that, but the constant yammering about crime (and blaming low SES POC for it) that make you a trumper.

The typical R in DC is probably living in Foxhall and working in NOVA.
There’s a whole bunch of MAGAs in the Navy Yard area. Mostly younger-set. They’re the ones constantly clutching their pearls about ordinary every-day city life. “Oh noes! Someone broke into my car!” “Im sick of seeing tents everywhere!” “I heard gunshots!” “I don’t feel safe!”
They’re easy to spot.
NP. I wish this post were satire...

And the second poster loves the idea of more car-jackings b/c that will chase out Trumpers?
I am leftie/Democrat and you two have serious issues.
I wouldn’t say it something to celebrate, but I’ve had the same thoughts/observations. The people most vocal and pearl clutching about crime always seem to be cons. If that’s all that’s needed to get them to leave then I’ll put up with it.
You would rather endure car jackings (which are not petty crimes) than have to live next to somebody with different viewpoints than you?

Honestly, if the choice was having to deal with some kind of crime every year (stuff like a burglary or robbery or having something stolen) and living next door someone who supports the J6 crowd, I’d take dealing with crime. I’m not a racist coward, so Black people don’t scare me.
How brave you are being willing to put up with porch pirates, because by burglary I’m pretty sure you don’t mean someone breaking into your home at 1 am while you and your kids are sleeping, and by robbery I am pretty sure you don’t mean being knocked out and having your jaw broken by someone that wants your new IPhoneWTAF is wrong with people?!
