Anonymous wrote:This is all very simple. Well over half of MoCo democratic voters chose someone other than Elrich. Blair came within an eyelash of beating him but fell short because Riemer split the anti-Elrich vote. It wasn’t so much that Riemer ran and stayed in the race. Riemer’s attacks on Blair pulled votes away from Blair, and both he and his supporters spread misinformation about the state of the race right until the very end. The Riemer voters get what they deserve.

Keep being obnoxious, Elrich voters, and Blair voters will cry their way to the polls to elect Reardon Sullivan
There it is folks. The cat is out of the bag. Most Blair voters are republicans.

Oh, no. I'm an avowed liberal who hasn't voted Republican since 2000. Have never been registered anything but Democrat, and vote in every single election. I am absolutely voting for Sully.
Calling bullshit. You are not an “avowed liberal” if you are actually going to vote for someone who voted for Trump, didn’t want to protect the vulnerable from Covid, and whines about so-called CRT.

maybe he doesn't miss the money
Remember, Elrich only eeked out a win. Won by a much smaller margin than last time, which was already small.
This should tell you that more and more people did not want Elrich.
Actually Elrich got more votes this time around. The reason it was so close it's because of all the republicans who switched and voted for Blair.
There are people who switched parties, but there is no data to show the magnitude of that switch . If you look strictly at total registrations, the Dems gained about 2,000 for this primary but unaffiliated gained about 15,000. We don’t know, without out more data, whether this had an impact.
Doesn't matter. The result is that Elrich is not as popular as his supporters think he is.
