I don’t think most people track birth stones. I barely know my own. I do, however, think that opals are one of the prettier and more interesting stones.

Opal Marie
Opal Jean
Opal Louise
Opal Beth
Opal Sue
All sound like names from The Dukes of Hazzard.
The superstition that Opals are bad luck unless you're born in October.
Really? Never heard of that. But I am born in October, so I guess it's not something I'd ever need to be concerned about.
