No sweet treats (candy/ice cream/baked goods) except designed times with my kids (so no binging after they are asleep!)
Cutting back carbs at lunch and dinner (which I eat separately from my family) and then eating normal dinner with my family.
I’m going focus on those for a couple weeks and tell you every day how I did. Please encourage/yell at me to keep me on track! Tonight I have a birthday party I’m going to and I will not eat cake because I’ve had plenty of treats this week! I can do it.
Ok I did pretty well yesterday (did not eat cake!) but I did have some coffee cake with my kids. Trying even harder today.
How did you guys do?

I care about my weight on a scale, how my clothes fit, and how I feel. I'm at 178 right now (I'm 5 ft 7), so on this last year I've gone on a journey from morbidly obese to just obese to just overweight now, and I'm trying to get down into that "normal" range still. Trying to lose about a pound a week, slow but steady.
Good luck, everyone!
I've had a great week -- down to 175.8 today from 178 just over a week ago. I came back from vacation a week ago and I think the vacation weight has dropped off because a lot it was just retained water from salty foods. Two pounds is lot of weight for me in one week and even with this I haven't lost 5 pounds from my weight at the beginning of the month, only 4 (because I gained over vacation). But it wasn't hard to get back on track after vacation, just decide to do it. I also just crossed my 80 pounds of weight loss mark -- I started last summer at 256.
What do folks do when they hit plateaus? Usually I just wait it out and stay strong. I also noticed that sometimes a plateau will break right after my cheat day -- I'll go up a little and then down quite a bit more. Maybe the body needs to be tricked sometimes, heh. Good luck, everyone!
