This actually sounds nice. I hate using PTO to visit family or feeling guilty for choosing to take a vacation over using time to visit family.
I hate having my in-laws and even my own parent stay.
Right now my in-laws are "visiting" for an indefinitely period of time and I hate being home.

I get it. I was the PP whose MIL would stay for months, with no inkling of when she would leave. She recently moved to within 30 minutes of us. I went out and looked at apartments for her, and then I drove the moving truck she rented. I could not be happier.

Yes, but even my DH gets exhausted by his mom after a few days.
