No. They inadvertently emptied Taylor (moved most of it to asfs) when they redid boundaries as part of the key move.
? They didn't move "most" of it. It had something like 515 students last year...
The school wasn't really over capacity, and they moved 1/3 of it to asfs (and replaced that with only 1-2 planning units from old asfs boundary). Taylor has a capacity of 659, so its currently at 80% of capacity. So, 2/3rds didn't move, but its still way under capacity (which was inadvertent).

Always the 5th grade. The kids love it, fwiw.
My sister was a teacher and LOVED her trailer. The AC/heat always worked and was controlled by the teacher, not a robot who could feel the “feels like”temperature and adjust. Also Admin bothers you less.
My kid hated being in a trailer. Narrow hallways. Small classrooms. Floor was coming apart. Toilets often didn't work. Building doors locked. Not good in snow or rain.
Ok- kids win! Seriously they should update many many APS elementary schools!

As predicted the 2nd grade classes at Taylor are crazy full. 27/26 kids per class. Ridiculous. No reason a class should have so many kids in it. What are the class caps at APS?

The smallest school is Campbell with 373 enrolled, next smallest is Randolph with 377. Taylor has over 510. Discovery has 480.
Least crowded? Lol. My kid had 26 kids in her class last year, while the same grades at Discovery had 20/21.
It partly comes down to the remainder when you divide the classes. Is there enough to form another class, or can those 15 students be added to the 3 20-student classes to make them 25. Small school size does not guarantee small classroom.
But small school makes for saner recess and lunch times, and makes space for specials (our school music teacher is on a cart -- no classroom).
This. Big classes do not equate to overcrowding. That is due to budget cuts/reqr class sizes. Crowded schools have trailers, lunch starting at 10am, issues with coordinating specials (art, PE) and recess times.
