I agree. This is my favorite. However, I noticed that all of the bottles of premade cold coffee are now like $6-7 at the grocery store! It’s ridiculous. I stopped buying it and I just brew my own hot coffee (strong) and refrigerate it. It’s a little dorky and simplistic but it works fine to have throughout the week.

Wait, dorky and simplistic? Coffee IS simple - it’s supposed to be nothing but water infused with beans. That’s what it is.

Anyway, this dorky and simplistic woman makes a pot of coffee every day and drinks half of it. The other half I let cool, and then I pour it into a jar and put it in the fridge. Hey presto, ice coffee whenever I want it.

For both hot and iced coffee I add a splash of half and half. It is delicious and makes my day better.

Anyone have tips for straining at home so it’s not so cloudy? Cheesecloth did not get all the grit out for me.

To strain, I use a coffee filter in my regular coffee machine (and the cold brew goes into the carafe). I don't turn the machine on.
