Yeah. There is someone on DCUM that loves to throw shade at Lexus every time it is referred as a luxury brand. While I agree its not on the higher side of the luxury car spectrum, they are indeed luxury cars to the vast majority of people, and are usually included in the luxury car rankings by US News, MotorTrend etc... often being ranked higher than many of the higher priced luxury cars. I can only assume this person gets their rocks off by by making these comments - which never add anything to the threads he/she comments on.

Lots of bad info here. Mercedes stopped manufacturing some models for the US market with a V8 in 2021 due to supply chain issues. The company has since resumed import for the GLE, GLS and other models. The average driver doesn’t really need over-the-top HP or torque.

Almost every new vehicle will trigger a check engine light with a loose or faulty gas cap.

After listing the ten most reliable cars for 2022 model year,the website lists the ten worst. Mercedes Benz GLE is the least reliable vehicle. Ford Explorer is second least reliable so the MB GLE must have a lot of problems because the 2022 Ford Explorer has lots of issues.

Mercedes, for example, offer comfort, but not reliability.

KiaTelluride SUV has the highest scores of 97 road test and 96 reliability.

One problem that I have regarding comfort is finding a head rest with adequate support for one's neck. This makes the point that what is comfortable for one, may not be for another.

The BMW 7 Series starts at over $90,000 and can cost into the $160,000 plus range.
