NO Republican is worthy of the office of the President of the US moving forward.

Did you miss the NAZI RALLY yesterday at CPAC? I did not hear one Republican denouncing that crap
Or how about all the Republicans that supported Alex Jones and his denial of Sandy Hook. Really? What do you not understand about how god awful that was and is for those families? Not one Republican denounced him not one!

While Biden or any other dem might not be a first choice or even a 10th choice voting in a Republican will destroy the US.
GOP has point blank said
1. raising taxes
2. Nazism will be mainstream already started in Florida teachers 3 day indoctrination
3. Women will lose all rights don't believe me you are not paying attention
4. Social security and medicare gone those are hard working Americans' monies republicans are going to steal them. Get ready to move in any family members that live on that.
5. Betsey DeVos schools???
6. Abortion 10-year-olds to have to go to term?? WTh? Death penalty, manslaughter charges etc..

Please explain why you stand with Nazi's. What policies do Repukes have that you want? Because if you look at the history they suck in terms of inflation, jobs, and health care yeah where's that plan they have been promising? Dems always come into the job and have to bail out republicans. Look at red states last in pretty much everything.

Sure Nazism is amazing for America
By the way, SCOTUS has a religion ready and it is not evangelical or mainstream Christian. Think about it. Not like they are hiding it.

And the very last thing

Republicans are aiming for no more voting in the US. You will never have a free and fair election again. Shut up Maga morons you totally messed this one up. Learn to read cognitively.

I don't know about anyone else but Voting Rights are key and that people like Liz Cheney and the rest of the Republican party voted NO for the Voting Rights ACt is all you need to know if you are a true American.

Democrats have zero leg to stand on about Nazism, fascism or threats to democracy when they promoted and campaigned for trumpy candidates.
Nope not taking this hyperbole.

No democrats voted for Trumpy candidates. That is all on GOP voters.

Yeah no. Sounds he’s with dumb or arrogant enough to consider a run as an independent. Or maybe he actually wants another 4 years of trump.

He will likely be scooped up by Fox News. And be richer.

I don’t feel sorry for Larry Hogan nor the state of Maryland who voted for their Trump loving Republican nominee. Marylanders love to proclaim a left leaning state but the proof is in the pudding also known as the election ballots cast behind the curtain. So your true colors.

You’re out of the loop, this is the “sane” Republicans’ latest excuse for their party going down the toilet: the Democrats did it. Apparently the DNC spent some unknown figure promoting Trump favored picks in primaries, and now other Republicans are freaking out.

Here is the thing: you can blame others for your party’s failings as much as you want, but it won’t fix your problems.

Anonymous wrote:I never voted for him but know plenty of Democrats who did. I disagreed with him on things like Beltway widening and police, but commended his generally pro-science and non-gaslighting approach to the pandemic and he generally has avoided the culture wars. He's been a critic of Trump, denounced Dan Cox and said he won't vote for him, and has generally made out to be one of the more sane Republicans in the country.

So I kind of feel bad for him should he care about his legacy. His establishment pick lost and the Trump QAnon crazy candidate won. And he has ZERO chance in the 2024 GOP primary. Zero chance. (I'm writing this because I just read the WaPo power rankings for the Republican Party post-Trump). He has no political future, despite being a common-sense, get-stuff-done, social moderate and pro-business Republican who can win in blue states. I think he'd make a fine president, who I probably wouldn't vote for because of my more left-leaning economic views, but he'd be competent and less embarrassing on the international stage. Yes, the bar is so low I would be happy with a President who is not an international embarrassment.

So what is Hogan's future? Go back to real estate? Become a talking head on MSNBC or CNN? Again, I'm a Democrat, but America would be so much better if there were more Larry Hogans in national politics.

I don't understand why you feel bad for him. He is a far right wing conservative (not a Trimoster - think George Bush or Lynne Cheney - their policies are FAR right), who was only kept in check because of Democrats in the state legislature.

We will absolutely NOT be better off in America with more Larry Hogan's.

He has and will continue to turn far right as he runs for President in 2024, and I hope he loses, big time.

The establishment pick lost because of shadow campaigns from Democrats that poured MILLIONS of dollars into promoting him. Also, the only people that talk about Trump and AQnon this much are democrats. I’m a republican and never hear chatter about either of these things.

Outside of the DMV I think he will have a chance, but needs to start getting his name out there. People want moderate candidates that aren’t a gazillion years old.

I've heard this before, and the assumption of direct causation between the "shadow" campaigns and Cox getting the nomination strikes me as fanciful at best. If democratic campaigns were actually this powerful, the country would look a lot different right now.

Also, you live in a state of denial. The MAGA crazies *are* the base of the party. As an example, look at Arizona. You might not like it, but Trump is the most influential corce in the GOP

You’ve heard it before because they have been numerous articles in the WaPo talking about it. It’s real, it changed the course of several important elections and is despicable.
You can’t claim “Russian influence” on campaign outcomes while doing THE EXACT SAME THING domestically to primary elections.

First, the assertion that "it changed the course of several important elections" is completely speculative.

More importantly, if you are equating the fairly common phenomenon of boosting an undesirable candidate in a primary to make the general election more favorable to a (hostile) foreign power interfering in a domestic election . . . well, you are the problem. And a decent example of today's Republican party.

You're missing the point entirely. Did Democratic PACs put out ads for the Trumpy gubernatorial candidate in Maryland? Absolutely, and nobody is denying that (do I agree with that strategy? No, but that's neither here nor there). But the ads weren't slandering Shultz, they weren't pumping out disinformation. They were highlighting Cox's Trumpiness. And Maryland Republicans loved that. And, as a PP noted, Lake didn't need any Democratic PAC help in Arizona to fend off those who pass as "sane" Republicans these days.

When will Republicans admit that their party is the party of fascism, the party of white nationalism, the party of depraved populism? I won't be holding my breath.
