Gavin De Becker on Joe Rohan’s podcast was so good.

True Story with Tig and Cheryl consistently makes me laugh. They watch a documentary and sort of talk about it but mostly go off on weird digressions and silly tangents.

-Once Upon a Time in the Valley--fascinating story about Traci Lords. Was she an unwitting underage girl who was manipulated into porn, or was a calculating woman who knew what she was doing?
-Red Collar and Blood Money--True crime, but both of these are from the same person, Catherine Townsend. It's about how White Collar criminals who murder. Each one is a stand alone and it's fascinating.

I just heard about one on Fresh Air called I Was Never There about the counterculture I plan to listen to. I grew up in the counterculture so it is particularly interesting-sounding to me.

Malcolm Gladwell's books make good audiobooks, too.

Sh!t town was incredible. I remember being captivated by it, and I’d call my sister after I’d listen to an episode to discuss it. (She had recommended it to me.) Before long, she told me to stop, that we couldn’t discuss it anymore until I finished it, because she was afraid she’d spoil it. I’m pretty sure I paused it near the end and was like, WT actual F is going on here!

My Dad Wrote a Porno is another oldie but goodie. That one is just wow. So worth listening to. It’s amazing on so many levels.

I just did a cross country drive and I have to say that going the library route for books on tape were great. Libby and Hoopla are great apps you can connect to your local library for free.

I “read” four books during the drive. It was awesome. I alternated non-fiction with fiction - so leaned some and was engrossed in great fiction tales.

Enjoy the drive! I didn’t even notice the time go by.
