Happened to my dh. I think it is so crappy. His dad left $5M for his stepmother. Zero to mh dh. Stepmother died and left us zero. DH was adopted + his adoptive mom died when he was 13. He felt his dad did not want him. Crappy people should not be allowed to have kids.

Ugh. My heart aches for him. I lost my mom as a teenager. I’m sure he has had a rough road.

It’s public knowledge Wynonna’s been in-patient therapy for money problems.

She's been divorced several times and probably had to make big payouts to the men.

She died from mental illness. She did not commit a crime. The symptoms of her illness killed her.

Her daughters are both grown and capable. She left her estate to her spouse of 33 years. Most married people leave their money to their surviving spouse. There is nothing of mental illness in that very rational choice

If they were cut out of the will and left nothing (no additional trusts, etc.), then I imagine they may try and fight it. It would be interesting to see what the will actually says. I agree with others that it is possible there is some sort of trust in place. I get cutting out your kids, but cutting out grandkids is stone cold.

It is the individual’s right to do what they want to with their money. There was very little left when my mother and father died. I took care of them out of a sense of duty to honor my father and mother as God commanded us to do up on that mountain top. It was never in hopes of being paid for it.

Yes, my father left everything to his 3rd wife, and she told me she can't wait to buy her sister a new house. We have a child with special needs. Very sad, the useless step parent money grabbing vultures.

That isn't all on the 3rd wife. Your dad CHOSE that. His 3rd wife owed you nothing. Your Dad is the one who did that to you.

Please stop with the narrative that a woman is conniving and the innocent man was just taken advantage of. Your dad made a choice and knew he had a grandson with special needs. I’m sorry and I do think he should have put some in a trust for the child but it was your father’s choice.
