Watermelon? I know it is a low carb fruit, comparatively, but it is 12 g carbohydrates/cup.

It is a whole grain, good source of fiber, and low calorie. While not low carb, it isn’t high carb either and you can eat a pretty large serving for little calories

3 cups of air popped popcorn:

93 calories
4 grams fiber
18 grams carb

14 net carbs for a snack is pretty high, better than chips but not low carb

But it isn’t processed, is a good source of fiber, whole grain, and low calorie. Unless there is a specific reason you MUST maintain a very low carb level, air popped popcorn is a great snack for general good health and weight loss or maintain

Ok great. For those of us who must maintain a low carb level for medical reasons, what would you recommend?

Quest - 4 net carbs. These are my favorite.

Yeah, No. If I'm trying to stay under 50 carbs ideally, and under 100 logically, then that seems pretty high.

I don’t like my meals to be too meat heavy so I can’t waste 14 net carbs on snacks like popcorn. It doesn’t matter that it’s not processed.

I love all the salty dried veggies. Trader Joes has crispy onions, dried snappeas, Costco has really good dried mushrooms and broccoli. They're surprisingly flavorful and crunchy.
