You assume incorrectly. The Lyft driver had a kid with her who wasn’t properly restrained and the passengers were all dads who were giving her crap about it.

And they were sober at 1:45 am leaving dewey. Yeah right. Hope she’s found and charged with murder.

All she had to say was she was protecting her baby from five, or is it six, drunk angry men at 2AM and she’ll get off.

Eoukd it have been better for them to be driving drunk? They were doing the responsible thing.

Yes but the law can be on her side regardless of what is morally right. Drunk people are still jerks and can be violent. She should have pulled over....but he shouldn't have gotten out of the car without looking. It's not her job to judge what the drunk person is capable of doing.

I'm puzzled as to why the men didn't all exit the car side adjacent to the shoulder. Can't imagine alcohol wasn't a factor.

She stopped dead in the left lane. The person riding in the front passenger seat wouldn’t have that opportunity.

Was this published somewhere or do you have insider information?

His sister posted it on Facebook.

Can you copy and paste the exact post? Because I found no such accusation on his relatives facebook posts. Unless they deleted it. Still, FAR from evidence at all.

It was a comment on one of the first articles posted on Facebook about it. By MoCo Show or Bethesda Magazine or similar. I looked when someone asked me for the link but I swear it was there and there were posts on her timeline showing that she was his sister.

Sounds super legit...

The dead guys sister?

Yes.

And you trust what the dead guys sister says?

Why did he get out on the right side when the left side was safer? Did she explain that?

Anonymous wrote:So the Lyft didn't even pull over? There is a sidewalk and a shoulder on this road. Why did the Lyft have 6 passengers plus the driver? Was it a really large car?

"a 2016 Toyota Corolla, driven by a 27-year-old man, was approaching the stopped Lyft car. The man changed lanes to avoid hitting the back of the Lyft, but police said Wolf had already gotten out of the rear right passenger seat, and was standing in the roadway. "

It was a Honda Pilot.

But I'm not quick to pass judgment. If the passengers were being horrible, the driver has a right to kick them out of his vehicle. Drunk is not an excuse to be an obnoxious ass.

Are you for real? The driver should’ve waited until they were in a safe place to stop and exit the vehicle - it was a busy highway!! This endangered everyone, ended a life and probably traumatized the driver of the car that hit the victim.

The driver needs to be held accountable.

Wish everyone stopped calling that a highway. It’s a road parallel to the beach. Not an interstate.

It is a state highway.

There is clearly a safe exit from the car on the left side of the car.

It was reckless for her AND HER UNRESTRAINED BABY to stop in the middle of the highway in the left lane.

But it’s cool to put 6 guys in a Lyft, start a fight with your driver and jump out of the car in the middle of the road.

If they were so drunk that they couldn't think to look out of a car before exiting... how is that the driver's fault? And yes I get that the driver should have stopped in a better place, but it isn't as though the driver pushed them out of the car. You have to have SOME wits, enough to look before you exit.

And if you plan on getting so utterly drunk that you can't, then you hire someone to be your personal caretaker. A driver is not your personal caretaker for the night.

6 guys in 1 Lyft?

43 year olds coming from Dewey?

Come on now… take some responsibility

You're really taking this as fact based on a relative's facebook post, and not a police report? Mmmkay.

Not sure where the female driver + baby detail came from, because I have not seen it in any of the news stories. At all.
