In fact, most locations have them out on a table, so you don't even have to ask, you just walk in & grab the pre-packed brown bag off the table and go.
Each person is eligable to pick them up once a day, but nobody is checking if someone goes to multiple libraries in one day or takes more than they're supposed to.
