I’m not OP, but I’m guessing she’s trying to counter the endless “here’s another poll about the decline of religion,” as if those ever convinced believers to leave their faiths. Zuckerberg happens to be in the news so she can link to it here, as opposed to your uncle Charlie who found faith in his 60s, is also my guess.

It's still wise politically to be religious, or at least to espouse a religion. Hopefully, that will change soon.

When DH had children, we went back to raise them in a Congregation. We chose a UU Congregation. I doubt (hope), Zuckerburg chooses that option.

I'm an atheist, who also thinks religion is very important. It's had a huge effect on society, both positive and negative. You can think religion is very important without believing in it. And nothing in Z's post says that he believes in it.
