I’m pretty sure no one has said it’s the end of the world, and that’s great that JOs is a bigger deal for you and your swimmer. For kids who age up in the fall or winter this is often the championship meet they peak for, so yeah it would be nice for them to be able to get a t-shirt, assuming their parents aren’t being tightwads about it![]()
+1 our swimmer worked really really hard to make this meet. Would have been nice if it was treated like a big meet and not just any other swim meet.

It’s the summer long course championship meet for PVS, the vast majority of swimmers are from clubs (there were only a handful of kids listed as unattached). The club swim season runs from September through July, this is the end of the season meet except for those kids that qualify for zones. You have to make qualifying times for each event that you wish to enter. It isn’t related at all to the summer rec swim season.
Do you have to qual based on LC times or if you are starting out, will they convert SC times?

I agree, my kid is at the open meet but isn’t interested in getting a shirt, but did when attended the 12u meet.
Agree - none of these kids in college park want a shirt- heck they couldn’t get the swimmers back to fill finals- it is sparsely attended
