And if you 'pull through' without looking to see if another car is about to park in the farther space, you are going to meet my bumper and buy me a new truck.

If you’re from the city not used to driving in the country slow the f down, keep your distance, don’t go more than 5-8 miles over the speed limit during the day, and pay attention to the curve ahead signs.
If you’re driving at night in the country do the speed limit and watch out for deer and other animals, they don’t care that you’re in a hurry. Especially during “Bambi season”, rut season, and hunting season (May-December). And if you do hit a deer throw it in your pickup truck and call it dinner (report it of course). If that’s too much for you to handle at least call 911 or non-emergency services so someone can come collect it and process it.
I hate seeing deer rotting on the side of the road because someone was so selfish that they couldn’t pick up the phone. You don’t have to do any anything else but call and go about your day. As long as it’s a fresh kill there are many places that process it for free and give it to food banks or families in need. Nothing irks me more than seeing 75-100 pounds of wasted meat when there are food banks with barely enough food to serve all the hungry people.

Anonymous wrote:When a lane is closed ahead, drivers should fully utilize both lanes until the lane ends and zipper merge at that point. Those who designate themself the merge police and block perfectly usable lane a quarter mile before it ends are very stupid, as are those who won’t let drivers zipper merge from the ending lane.
Anonymous wrote:You don’t need to go 5 mph on the beltway onramp. That is the time to start speeding up.
I’m talking to all of you getting on the beltway at CT Ave!
Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Turn signals are necessary when you change lanes, actually.
I wholeheartedly agree, except that apparently cars behind me perceive them as a reason to speed up so I can’t change lanes. I hate driving here.

Yes to all of this!

What if you're in the process of passing someone even slower than you?
Them move over when you're finished, obviously. This isn't hard.
It just seems so hard for the person behind me to stay at a safe following distance until I'm done passing.
Really hard to understand unless you get that they are self important today DC area losers.
