Silverman's oversight of DOES has been a horrible failure.
Another unsupported assertion. That clown actually thinks she should have changed DOES's computer system. Hopefully he will learn a bit about how the government works if he win his ANC race.
Apparently the McDuffie crowd has adopted the strategy of just making allegations but not offering any facts to support what their claims.
I could say any number of negative things about McDuffie's oversight of the agencies his committee oversees. But, unlike the McDuffie supporters, I can actually support what I say with facts. McDuffie had oversight of DC's sports betting app. First, he allowed the contract to be awarded as a no-bid contract amid allegations of cronyism. Then, instead of raising money for DC, the app actually cost us $4 million. The app even failed to work during the Super Bowl.
A more responsible Committee Chairman would have demanded a competitive process for selecting a company to operate a sports betting app and would not have allowed DC to be stuck with a substandard money-losing disaster.
