Years ago, I could find useful things to read at GGW amid the smugness and sanctimony, but that is less and less the case.

On that note, why does her TV add keep talking about turning DC around or something like that. It's such a n off note for an 8 year incumbent.

I have never taken GGW seriously since the streetcar debacle. They strongly advocated for that massive boondoggle and they have never accepted responsibility or accountability for what a waste this was. But I guess it did it’s job, the streetcar spurred gentrification of H St, so at least their developer funders were happy. So mission accomplished.

The GGW position is whatever will maximize developer profits in any circumstance.
