This is the yuppy drink of choice. Then once Muffy and Stirling go around the Potomac a little bit they do shots, drink beer, and piss on themselves.

Then, Teddy posts all the pics on Facebook the next day in an album called "Missy's 40th Birthday."

Sparkling water with a splash of cranberry and a lime twist.

Now I really want to drink on a boat.

Sangria out of a ziplock bag in my purse. Tip: put the bag in freezer overnight for a lil sangria slush.

You brew a pot on the boat?

I do not have a boat so I ask the server in the aforementioned waterside restaurant to bring it.

I like a pp’s idea for session craft beer.

Are people really so insecure they care what people on an anonymous internet board think? Are they really concerned what people actually around them will think? Why do so many let others live rent free in their head?

Yes, people are this insecure. And people are sufficiently insecure about this stuff that they really think that beer is "low class." LOL.

It's not just 40 and 50-something feds on dcum. My daughter and her verifiable affluent sorority sisters seemed to all go to California or New York after college. I noticed immediately their social gatherings, beach trips, instagram-worthy outdoor dinners seem to always feature wine. Where as in college it was largely White Claws or cheap beer. So I think there is something to the perception that wine is sophisticated and "adult," where as beer and seltzer (beers) are lower class and immature.

Rose
Bees knees
Mules

Men drink beer, but usually not Corona, higher end beer.

Corona with lime sounds like a perfect boat drink. And I'm not normally a Corona person, but it's light and refreshing.

Otherwise I'd go for a gin & tonic or white wine.
