Whomever succeeds Putin will be transitory. If it s another Putin type then the what money is left in Russia will be siphoned away into the oligarchs western and off shore bank accounts at an even faster rate. The Russian economy is destroyed and neither Putin or his successor will be able to change course.
Foreign investment will not return because the risks are too high. Oil and gas isn’t enough.
