So awesome when your spouse tells you (briskly!) that he doesn't care about something that interests/concerns you and that you should stop talking about it.

How did this happen to your general thought process? Low IQ? Limited life experience? Depressed? What?

Enjoy your privilege.
+1 So tonedeaf.

Right now it's our values.
How does anyone opt out of talking about everything?
And the wife who claims to not know what political affiliation her husband is? What? After these last 7 years? Are they cognitively challenged, depressed, living under a rock?

Hell, even going out and protesting or spending your entire life as a political activist won't change anything. I have a low opinion of people who talk politics because they are naive
So you've noticed no social/political (they are intimately related) changes in your lifetime? No changes in, say, the treatment of people who are black, female, gay? Were you alive in the 60s--Medicare/Medicaid, not a big change? Obamacare, no big deal? Changes in the way the second amendment is interpreted resulting in the country being flooded with guns, unnoticed by you? This little pandemic we're having, politics had nothing to do with how that was handled?
LOL about your "low opinion."
