This is pretty much how my son has been, steady 3” a year, until 13-14, he grew a little over 4”. Just turned 14, he’s 5’11”. Doctor expects another 3-5”.

On what does good doctor base this? My kids doctors have always basically said it’s impossible to tell.

No growth spurt for my 13.5yo DS yet. He’s 5’2”ish.

FWIW it seems about half and half among his same aged friends….1/2 have grown, 1/2 have not.

My sons got teeth very early and grew late.

Mine didn't have much of a spurt like some. Just a steady 2 to 2.5" per year.

He hit puberty late - like 15. But, I think he will continue to grow into college, just like his dad did. DS is only 5' 7.5", I think, at 17. His voice only started cracking a few months ago.

His dad is tall, but I'm short. So, I think he will be average, which is fine.
