When I saw this listing, my jaw dropped. But, this is the most expensive little section of McLean. A true tear down around the corner sold for 3.5 recently - .80 acre lot. So this seems overpriced, yes, but to the people saying it’s worth $900k - you’re delusional. And don’t know McLean. I can see it getting north of 3. I was also surprised that this particular realtor took the house to market at this price.

True. And compared to the other houses in the neighborhood. But some Saudi with money to burn, for whom $4 million is like $4,000 to us, will buy it and ruin the historical aspects of the house like they did with others. Oughta be a law against it.

As a buyer, I’m still going to judge this differently. Finished basements are nice still not bright and like the rest of the house. But, 2500 is also enough for us and if this were priced reasonably, I’d grab it. It’s perfect for us. $4 million is criminal.
