Then your state flagship is UofSC not Clemson, what is wrong with those schools?

UT Austin is at least as hard to get into OOS.
UT Austin is 10% out of state not an easy bar.

Disagree with College Park, Syracuse, and Delaware.

USC is an urban school that feels nothing like UNC. The feel of Clemson is much closer
Surely you can take from the context PP meant University of South Carolina, not Southern Cal?
NP. I think that the U of SC is also urban (but I’ve never been there).

The SAT is bottom of the SCHEV stats for UVA - she should retake - don’t count on going test optional if not hooked. Your DD’s GPA is at the bottom 25th percentile also for UVA. I hope legacy works for you OP, but I’ve seen so many legacies to UVA turned away … are you and your husband big donors? You undoubtedly know that UVA has some counselors who work with legacy applicants? Make that contact today and work it.

UVA/Tech. She will apply to UVA, H and I are both alums. But she likes UNC more (feels newer/more cohesive to her)
We are in Maryland and based on the love for VA Tech on this forum, and what I've read elsewhere, we will definitely look at VA Tech next year for my kid and potentially apply ED if what we see backs up what we've read and heard. People seem to love it, even more than UVA, W&M or any other VA school, though just my perception.
