Sheridan parent in lower grades watching it play out. Not strong this year or last. Zero to GDS. Sheridan used to place numerous students at GDS each year up until 4 years ago.
Only major hooks got in (to Sidwell. 3 Maret). Field and Burke are popular destinations this year.
Sheridan sent five to GDS last year. This year was tough for GDS all around.

Whoa- none to GDS from Sheridan shows how tight things were at GDS. Sheridan has always placed numerous students at GDS each year. I'm stunned they didn't have anyone get in.
NP. The four to Maret is high (it is usually one or two), especially given how few Maret take at 9th.
Yes, very high. And not sibs.
Not true! And yes sibs!

Provided that your DC is reasonably bright and with no hooks like URM or D1 level Athletic potential, the biggest influencer is not so much the Outplacement Director ( NCRC, Little Folks, BVR, St Pats ) BUT YOU
* Donate heavily ( 10K-25K in year before you apply out )
* try to get that Auction Chair, PA Head or Board member seat 1-2 years prior to applying out
* Volunteer and back the HOS in All her battles
