Actually my sister had this type of job in high school during summers. She worked something like 11am-4pm each day She spent the afternoon at the pool in the neighborhood everyday with the 2 pre-school kids. The MB said she knew teens like to sleep late so my sister did not have to arrive til 11am to get the kids ready for the pool/afternoon. She prepared sandwiches etc to take with them for lunch.

They came home from the pool at 3, sister gave the kids baths and into their jammies and reading books to them before dinner. The hours may not be exact but you get the idea. I asked my sister about the transportation -- she would ride her bike to MB house (2 miles?) , and they would walk (stroller) the 5ish blocks to the neighborhood pool. No idea of the hourly pay but she got to hang out at the pool all summer. She remembers it fondly. She did this age 15 thru her freshman year of college when she moved away, so maybe 5 summers?

Make sure your auto insurer knows about it or they can refuse to cover an accident.
