Which Santarpio’s location is original/best? I found three locations.

East Boston

I sometimes like the style of pizza overflowing with gooey cheese that seems to be popular with lots of others (Regina's is a good example), but my all time favorites in the Boston area are Area Four in Cambridge and Stoked in Brookline. I also love Pepe's but have only been to the New Haven location. Otto is good too but I don't like how their crust is so thin that it gets soggy in the middle, and I usually do build your own there because most of their topping combinations are a little weird.

Lots of comparisons out there http://onceuponasmallbostonkitchen.blogspot.com/2011/05/santarpios-vs-reginas-which-ones-better.html but I found the staff at Santarpio’s a little too grumpy for me and I’m a native.

+1 agree, Regina's is awesome.

Friends just went, said it is still awesome.

I lived directly across the street from Regina’s when I first graduated from college! Paid $450 a month in a 4th floor walk up.

Umberto's in north end is also really good, thick crust. They sell out every day before dinner

I saw the title and was planning to say “give up and drive to New Haven”, but I see that others have beaten me to it!

And once you get to New Haven:
Modern > Sally’s > Bar > Pepe’s
