And I don't have much time so I eat a small, quick lunch. I snack on fruit during the day when I have time. It's enough to get me through until 3ish but then I'm starving. I usually eat a salad when I get home but it's not really enough, and because I'm so hungry I want to cover it in cheese and olives and heavy things.
Woah- you need protein! Just eating fruit and salad is not enough to maintain optimal blood sugar levels.

When I'm starving at that 4ish time I love to do things like pop a couple frozen quiche in the air fryer and serve with a side salad, make a cup of frozen French Onion soup (Trader Joe's has easy single serve soups), or smash an avocado and make some homemade guac and chips, or make an air fryer pb and j. Today I had a leftover enchilada around 4pm and then had a single serve charcuterie board with random leftovers- I took a plate and put a couple types of crackers, crazy feta, hummus, a few cheese slices, apple slices, grapes, cucumber slices, and red peppers.
