Subject: How long does it take you to eat a pint of ice cream?
I allow myself one a week. If I go through it on the first day, that’s it. Usually I take a bit on 3-4 different nights. Also, most of them aren’t a full pint any more.

It depends on what it is! For some reason if ice cream has yummy bits in it, like those fudge fish in Phish Food, I can eat a pint in one day because I just get to into finding the chunks. Like your husband, I make it last four servings. I have a serving every 3-4 days. I am trying to lose weight (20 lb down, 20 to go!) so I like to have an occasional treat, and I savor every bite.

Kind of like a bottle of wine. Two servings. One that is 2/3s of the container, and the the next night (or afternoon with ice cream) the rest.

I’m overweight but I usually only eat a little ice cream at a time, so 5-6 servings over 1-2 weeks if I have any (and DH didn’t get into it). I only eat Ben & Jerry’s, usually Cherry Garcia. I’m more likely to eat a PB&J at midnight.
