I don’t think chips are that bad. I try to eat plant-based so I try to buy kettle potato chips or some of the other veggie chips. Add hummus or baba ghanoush or some other veggie dip and I’m happy.

Chips are fine. Eat the chips! If you just want a little more nutrition, maybe roasted, salted sunflower seeds, or Wasabi peas. Nuts are good too.

The question is what kind of chips? I like Stacey's sea salt pita chip thins. Salty and crunchy!

The dried seaweed packs satisfy my urge for salty and crunchy, and are super low calorie.

I do the same with some sort of after-dinner snack. I try to limit it to 150-200 calories.

Eat the chips. If you enjoy it and have a 99% healthy diet and lifestyle, why not?

What is your concern? The habit? The calories? Are you trying and not succeeding at losing weight? Are you a normal weight?

Anyway. I do similar things. I have treats that I like, and make space for them. When I don't, I wind up overloading on the "forbidden" treat.
