Agree it was too long and too much violence. But not boring! I think this film appeals more to guy viewers. It would have been better to have a woman co director or something to influence. Some really nice relationship scenes, and would have been better to focus on character development more so we would care more about the characters instead of spending so much time on gimmicks and weirdness. The acting is stellar though.

My young adult daughters took me to see it last night. We all cried, especially with the rock scene. And I don't know why, but the hot dog fingers made me laugh uncontrollably.

I'll be rooting for all the actors at the Oscars - thought they were brilliant.
