Brooklyn Ankle Pant: Lightweight and looks decent enough for business travel. https://athleta.gap.com/browse/product.do?pid=19867100
Cabo Linen: Lightweight for those trips in the heat of summer where you want coverage: https://athleta.gap.com/browse/product.do?pid=447244042

Wide leg: I travel most in earlier versions of these: https://athleta.gap.com/browse/product.do?pid=657665002
And I'm not including all the joggers that are options as well.

NP, I just ordered and received those wide leg Nolita pants above. It’s hard to find petite length so thanks for the rec! Zippered back pockets and also some side pockets, must be a first! I’ve been wearing them all day.

So whatever you choose, go for something with a close fit at the ankle, like leggings or joggers. I always wear leggings on flights for this reason (and because they’re comfortable).
This. It is actually why I wear cotton skirts, not pants, on flights. I bring a thin blanket for my legs while I'm in my seat. But I wear a skirt that I can pull up so that nothing except my panties have to go down and those only go to my knees.
I just fold the pant legs over so they don’t touch the floor. Still worth the convenience of pants over skirts.
It's possible to wear pants and avois having them touch the floor.
Airplanes are so cold to me, I'd rather wear comfy pants than a skirt, even if my end location is tropical

My leggings collection had grown substantially in the last couple years, because i've had so much time to work out during remote work. THe day before the flight i had this aha moment that i could just wear those leggings on the plane and no one would judge me.
It was wonderful.....

love them. I've bought them literally 20 times.
+1. These are great pants.
NP. How is the fit of these?
This is the poster who first posted about the LL Bean Perfect Fit pants. They actually offer them in several styles (straight leg, boot leg, slim, leggings, cropped, etc.). I always buy the bootleg. They sit a little low on my waist, which I like and the boot cut is only slightly tapered, so you don't look like you're wearing bell bottoms or anything. The waist band on the bootleg are 1.5 or 2 inches wide, which IMO is the perfect width for giving me a flat, smooth appearance without giving me that rubber band around your waist uncomfortable feeling. I've bought the straight leg version in the past and really did not like where the waistband sat or how the waistband felt. I highly recommend the perfect fit pants for travel wear
