A grown woman but mentally unstable and frankly her behavior in the past was downright scary she was incapable of raising her two bots, regardless if the conservatorship were too restrictive and long or not.
We don’t know anything about her; that was all media projection, which she chafed under. As far as I know, she has never said she has Bpd.
I find it so sad that women are trying to act like they know better than she does re what she should do with her life and body. It was a media narrative that the conservatatorship was good for her. Her father and friends used it to control her and steal from her. It is very hard to come out of one because she’s had no agency did more than a decade. I wish her well. At least she’s finally living in her own terms.
Watch the documentary and look at the FB posts. It’s very easy to file a conservatorship over someone. She was in the hospital for an involuntary hold, which is easy to claim when people around you say you’re acting some way. In fact, a parent of mine has Alzheimer’s and I was shocked to hear the doctor base an entire session around a questionnaire that parent’s spouse filled out. That dies not take into account that person’s bias, and my parent has challenges, but certainly not totally unaware at this point. Britney’s dad waived notifying her before they placed her in it. It’s also easy to build a case about a public figure, because they can point to a pic of her smashing a car without offering any context (the guy was harassing her and claimed he knew if he provoked her he could get a million dollars for the shot, so why should he leave her alone?).
Lindsey Lohan’s mom wanted her in one, but her father fought her off. Unfortunately that didn’t happen in Britney’s case. Her entire family is POS.
Also, read the nytimes article about virtual strangers who are filing them against the elderly to steal their $$. It’s legal. Unethical, but legal.
Two things can be true. There is abuse of conservatorships and Brittney has mental health issues. There is years of legal documents and hospital records that are related to her. None of it is public. But to think this woman doesn’t have serious mental health issues that led to where she is means you’re not operating in reality.Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Oh wow, no. Actually the PP is correct, there is an actual elder/conservatorship abuse epidemic out there. Here’s a New Yorker article (well-known for fact checking) but tons of articles from many publications available:

+1 She’s too immature and unwell to recognize that fact.
+2 she didn't parent her first two, it's beyond selfish to want a do-over.
Who raised the boys?
Keven Federline, their father. He's kind of scummy looking and he has kids with several different women, but by all accounts he is a good, involved, loving, stable, capable father. It seems like when the boys were young her handlers and family and employees were really the ones in charge when she had them, which is good.
I'm at a place where 10% of this is fun gossip and 90% is concern and maybe sadness.
